Removing FEHB from DEERS Profile
To remove your FEHB selection, you must submit a signed declaration that specifically states ALL of the following:

I am not FEHB eligible.

I selected FEHB eligibility in error when enrolling in TRS.

I would like the FEHB removed from my DEERS record.
To remove your FEHB via Beneficiary Web Enrollment:

Sign in to milConnect and select “Beneficiary Web Enrollment (BWE)” from the “Benefits” menu.

Click the “Other Government Programs” tab.

Click “Remove.”

Click “Remove” again to confirm your selection.
Note: The option to remove an FEHB benefit isn’t available if the start date is more than 90 days in the past. If an end date was previously set and not marked as indefinite, it can’t be edited. Dates must be less than 90 days in the past and no more than 90 days in the future.
To submit via fax or mail, please include the following on your cover letter:
- Sponsor's name
- Sponsor's social security number or Electronic Data Interchange personal identifier
- Preferred telephone number
- Reason for this correspondence: NEED TO REMOVE FEHB FROM DEERS
- Sponsor’s signature

If you are not a CAC holder: Include the above information in an attachment, not in the body of the email.
