TRICARE Open Season 2026
TRICARE’s Open Season runs November 9 and through December 8, 2026. No action is needed, if you are happy with your current plan. Open season doesn’t apply to active duty service members.
Need to make changes?
If you’re enrolled in TRICARE Prime or TRICARE Select and need to make changes, learn more below. Enrollment changes made during TRICARE Open Season will go into effect on January 1, 2027.
What are my options?
Are you happy with your current plan?
You don’t need to take any action, and you will remain enrolled in your current plan (as long as you remain eligible and pay any applicable fees).
Do you want to enroll or change your plan?
You should enroll online! If you’re enrolling, or simply want to change your TRICARE health plan, you can do so online using milConnect*. You can choose between TRICARE Prime and TRICARE Select plans.

Other ways to enroll
You can give us a call at 800-444-5445. However, we expect high call volumes during this time, so please avoid calling us on the first and last days of open season.
We recommend you use milConnect* for the easiest and fastest way to make enrollment changes.
You may also enroll by mail, but forms must be received by December 9, 2026:

*TRICARE Prime beneficiaries: You can only enroll online if you live in a Prime Service Area. You need a Common Access Card, Defense Finance and Accounting Service (myPay) account or a myAuth account to log in to milConnect.
