TRICARE may cover hair removal, including electrolysis, when medically necessaryTo be medically necessary means it is appropriate, reasonable, and adequate for your condition.. You don’t need pre-authorization, but you must get a referral from your primary care manager if you’re enrolled in TRICARE Prime.
TRICARE doesn’t cover hair removal for cosmetic reasons.
