TRICARE covers dermatological services for the diagnosis and treatment of skin disorders, including:
- Medically-appropriate treatment for acne
- Photodynamic therapy
- Photochemotherapy
Topical treatment for hypertropic scarring and keloids resulting from burns, surgical procedures or traumatic events may be covered only if there is evidence of impaired function.
