Pap Test
- Also known as Pap smear.
- Are covered for female beneficiaries beginning at age 21.
- Women under age 21 shouldn't be screened regardless of the age of sexual initiation or other risk factors.
The frequency of screening Pap tests may be at the discretion of the patient and clinician. But screening Pap tests shouldn't be performed less frequently than once every three years.
