How do I check my referral status?
You can find all the details of your existing referrals by accessing the MyCare Overseas beneficiary mobile app or web-based portal. You can also contact your TRICARE Overseas Program Regional Call Center. For more information, visit Referrals and Authorizations.
Does TRICARE have dental coverage?
Yes, but it isn’t a part of your medical coverage. TRICARE medical and dental plans are separate. Your dental plan depends on your status. If you’re on active duty, you’re covered by active duty dental benefits. Family members of active duty service members and National Guard and Reserve members, as well as National Guard and Reserve members not on active duty, can purchase dental coverage through the TRICARE Dental Program. The Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program provides optional dental coverage for retirees and their family members. To learn what you’re eligible for, visit Dental Care.
What mental health care and resources does TRICARE offer?
TRICARE covers several mental health services. How you get care may depend on your beneficiary category and your TRICARE health plan. You may also need to check with your regional contractor to see if you need a referral and/or pre-authorization. Go to Getting Mental Health Care to learn how you can get care and Covered Treatments to learn what outpatient and inpatient services TRICARE covers. You can also review Programs and Resources for additional help that may be available to you.
|Is your prescription covered by TRICARE? You can find out by checking the TRICARE Formulary Search Tool. This tool will also tell you if you need a request form from your provider, where you can fill your prescription, and how much you may have to pay out of pocket.
