TRICARE Prime Option: Uniformed Services Family Health Plan

The Uniformed Services Family Health Plan is a TRICARE Prime option administered by participating nonprofit plans in six service areas in the U.S.

  • USFHPs cover care through their own provider and pharmacy networks. You’ll get most care through a primary care provider in your USFHP’s network.
  • USFHP has the same out-of-pocket costs as TRICARE Prime.
  • Some USFHPs offer discounts on services that TRICARE health plans don’t cover. Examples may include chiropractic care, eyeglasses, and hearing aids. Check with your plan for details.
