Join TRICARE for July 16 Q&A Facebook Event
“TRICARE overseas health plan options are administered a little differently from stateside options,” said Ron Peoples, health care analyst for the TRICARE Overseas Program (TOP) at the Defense Health Agency. “This event allows beneficiaries who are living overseas or will be moving overseas the opportunity to get answers to their questions.”
You can ask any TRICARE overseas benefit question, which might include:
- How do I fill a prescription?
- What are my TRICARE health plan options?
- How do I get emergency care?
- How do I know my costs for care?
- How do I file a claim for reimbursement?
Peoples also recommends downloading the 16-page TRICARE Overseas Program Handbook from the TRICARE Publications page for details about medical, dental, and pharmacy benefits overseas. For example, the TOP handbook outlines your four options for filling prescriptions overseas.
During the Q&A, don’t post personally identifiable information, refer to any specific health condition, or use names of specific individuals. See more information about rules of engagement.
No registration is required. All you have to do is visit the TRICARE Facebook page to post your question. Tune in Tuesday, July 16 for the TRICARE Q&A to get the answers you need to take command of your health.
