TRICARE Regional Office-South (TRO-S) Senior Enlisted Advisor (SEA)

Your Senior Enlisted Advisor (SEA) on Healthcare Issues for OK, LA, AR, AL, MS, TN, FL, GA, SC, most of TX and Ft. Campbell, KY.

The SEA serves as a key staff member and advisor representing the enlisted perspective on the military healthcare delivery system. The SEA also serves as an advocate on healthcare services that affect Active Duty, Reserves, National Guard, Retired military personnel and their family members within the region, specifically when faced with systematic or complex issues.

My role as your regional SEA is to maintain open lines of communication with senior enlisted leadership and service members throughout the region. One of my top priorities is to ensure our Wounded Warriors and their families are afforded the resources and support they may require while navigating through the military healthcare system in times of need. I am also committed to guiding service members and their families if they encounter complex, systematic issues with their healthcare. Typically each military medical facility has a Patient Advocate (or) Patient Liaison assigned to facilitate issues you may encounter and I encourage you to work with them to resolve, however I’m readily available to assist. My goal is to ensure you and your family utilizes your healthcare benefits to its maximum potential and is provided the most up to date information about TRICARE.

Some of the resources and services available to you to include “Direct2U”, designed to provide you and/or your unit “live” forum TRICARE briefings by one of the subject matter experts (1-800-554-2397). All that is required is a computer with internet connection and a telephone, allowing participants to join in from the comfort of their own office. You may also access information about your benefits online at (1-800-444-5445), “Warrior Navigation and Assistance Program” for wounded warriors and their families (1-888-446-9627), “ValueOptions” for beneficiaries requiring assistance with behavioral health services (1-800-700-8646), “STAR FORCE” tailored specifically for Guard and Reserve members (1-877-298-3408).
