As of October 1, 2009, DoD transitioned to the Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (e-QIP) for the processing of investigative Standard Forms (SF’s) to include SF85 (Questionnaire for Non-Sensitive Positions), SF85P (Questionnaire for Public Trust Positions), and SF86 (Questionnaire for National Security Positions). e-QIP is a web-based automated system managed by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM), which facilitates the processing of SF’s for background investigations. TRICARE contracts which have positions of public trust require the submission of the SF85P. PSD will phase-in to e-QIP the companies having TRICARE contracts which have positions of public trust.

If you are a company Facility Security Officer (FSO) or Contracting Officer Representative (COR), please contact the TMA e-QIP Help Desk to obtain the pre-requisite training to receive e-QIP system access.

“On October 1, 2013, the Department of Defense established the Defense Health Agency (DHA) to manage the activities of the Military Health System. These activities include those previously managed by TRICARE Management Activity (TMA), which was disestablished on the same date. During the next several months, all TMA websites will change to reflect the new DHA. We appreciate your patience during this transition."
