What is RSS? RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a free service that automatically sends a feed when there is new Web content. With RSS users don’t have to frequently check the TRICARE Web site for new content. TMA uses RSS to transmit News Release and Fact Sheet headlines, which link back to www.tricare.osd.mil for the full text.

How do I view RSS feeds? To view and receive RSS feeds, users need a special feed reader or a news aggregator that can automatically check RSS-enabled Web pages that they select and display any updated information that it finds. There are numerous feed readers available; many of them are free of charge. Most are simply desktop programs that users download and install on the computer. There are also Web-based feed readers that require no software installation and make the feeds available on any computer with Web access.
