Military Crisis Line
Any veteran or service member in crisis, or anyone concerned about one, can call the confidential Military Crisis Line at 1-800-273-TALK (1-800-273-8255) and press "1". You can also use the online chat or send a text message to 838255 to talk to trained professionals any time.
Trained Veterans Affairs (VA) crisis responders answer calls, chats and text messages to the Military Crisis Line. They can give you referrals for VA services and fast-track appointments with a VA suicide prevention coordinator. Any veteran or service member can use the Military Crisis Line.
