Dental Costs
TRICARE offers three dental plans for beneficiaries. The TRICARE Dental Program and TRICARE Retiree Dental Program are voluntary and require you to enroll for coverage.
Beneficiaries who enroll in the TRICARE Dental Program or the TRICARE Retiree Dental Program will pay monthly premiums and cost shares for covered dental services.
The TRICARE Active Duty Dental Program augments services provided at military dental treatment facilities for active duty service members. There are typically no out-of-pocket costs for covered dental services.
